Court of Honor Inductees

Congratulations to Charles Beckner and Mike Hilliard, both of whom were inducted into the the Walsh Province Court of Honor on February 23rd in Dallas. Brothers on hand to celebrate included from Left to Right Dorian Escobar, Tracy Hoffart, Ryon Stubblefield, Travis LaCox, Charles Beckner, Ronny Snow, Jax Kenrick, Mike Hilliard and Mark Cochran.

Kappa Alpha is proud to announce the induction of 15 new pledges for the Spring Semester. Spring is typically a harder time to get such a large class and the active members are to be congratulated on their accomplishment.

NLI & Leadership KA


Jax Kendrick attended the National Leadership Institute in North Carolina which is required for all chapter #1’s. We also had from Left to Right: Travis Lacox and Tracy Hoffart attended Leadership KA, Ronny Snow was a facilitator for NLI and Jax. There was a lot of valuable information that was discussed during the 4 day event and what a sight to see 230+ bright young men each representing their chapters. Leadership KA had 9 alumni in attendance.

New Raven Statue

A new Raven Statue has been erected on Sam Houston State University to honor the name the Indians gave Sam Houston. The name is also what the Social Club that eventually became Kappa Alpha Order was named. The Statue is 21′ across and weighs over 7,000 pounds.
